I really don't have an explanation why this is so hard for people to understand. They didn't write/storyboard/animate a domestic abuse joke with only about a month until airtime JUST to fuck with Johnny Depp.
Truth be told, I think people here actually do understand this, it's just that some people were never exposed to the 'Johnny, Johnny' nursery rhyme (it's more of a thing in ESL schools, since it's a means of teaching English to young children, and isn't normally in native English speaking schools. My mother is an English teacher, and never knew about Johnny Johnny until I mentioned it to her). That, and the influx of /pol/ tourists.
