"If TV writers were clever enough to be stand-up comedians, we wouldn't need shows like the Simpsons and South Park to make fun of society. If toy manufacturers were able to beam advertising messages into kids' heads, we wouldn't have shows like He-Man and Care Bears. If parents and educators were able to beam messages into kids' heads telling them to stay in school and not do drugs, we wouldn't have shows like Arthur and Franklin."
