>>119032219If you say capitalism does this better than communism then I'll believe you that you've gotten to experience both. Don't know why you're absolutely obsessed with this dichotomy, though. I'm not pitching you communism, there's no reason for you to argue against communism.
>Those private individuals aren't necessarily stealing from their workers You're gonna have to back a claim like that up without saying "the workers agreed to that wage" (when the contract is "agree to this wage or starve" it isn't much of an agreement).
>profit seems to be the best motivator So far, right now. Shouldn't we be looking for a better one? Idk why you'd want to say that we're done here, pack up your ideas and go home because profit figured it out.
Also, profit absolutely doesn't drive innovation the way you think it does. When Gillette introduced indestructible razors they nearly went bankrupt because their product actually worked. There are like 10 different kinds of cotton candy flavored energy drink and all of them are equally likely to give you kidney stones. My cell phone loses service in Chicago because a different cell phone company has decided that it covers Chicago. Profit is exactly why we're NOT solving little problems like this. I don't know who told you that there just HAS to be a set number of problems all the time, but that person clearly wasn't an innovator.
If you bother responding again, try not to mention communism, because I'm not trying to talk about communism. What kind of world do YOU want to live in? Stop ordering off the value menu.
