>>118972201Honestly... who'd give a shit about that. Why not make an arc of his backstory, how he ends up with Bruce, and then him being the Butler of Batman. You know, the actually interesting part. If DC doesn't want to show Batman in their shows, they could just make it that you never really see him. Just show e.g. Year One Bruce getting wrecked and Alfred dealing with that development. Or make Batman call him for help because he got stabbed or poisoned or whatever, and then focus on Alfred's reaction, how he gets on his way, then cut to the aftermath with a wounded Bruce and Alfred fixing him.
You could focus on Alfred getting frustrated because he keeps preparing meals and stuff but Bruce never has time, so he starts to eat it himself, alone. Or you could show Alfred preparing the house because Selina comes over for a date or whatever, and after a rough night, after Bruce returns home, the camera pans over the floor full of blood, showing that Alfred wasted his time.
You could show him drink in a seat after a hard day, lost in his thought. You could show him argue with Bruce about morals when he sees the aftermath of a Joker attack on the news. There's SO MUCH potential. I don't get it.
