I know coco's face was a literal copy of ruby's due to asset reuse, but it's weird how over the years in official art they still haven't done anything to make her not look like ruby anymore.

This art was released today for the gotcha game and I still just see ruby.

I think the meta narrative you're referring to is intended to be that everyone has been pointless because people try to do shit head on and then give up when it doesn't work. The confirmation by djinn milf very very obviously implies that there is going to be a "clever" solution resulting from young, fresh minds tackling the problem. Which is okay in theory.

I mean, you're aren't wrong. ORJY has Yang dealing with seeing how shit is when Ruby isn't leading. Oscar hiding Oz. Yang and Jaune eventually finding out about Oz. Ren's angst. Jaune helping Ren's angst with maybe some assist from the other two. And so on.
On the other group, we have Penny dealing with being a Maiden, Weiss' family stuff, Ruby dealing with her leadership being called out, Nora's Ren angst, Blake's potential angst due to being away from Yang for more than a few minutes.
Huh, you know, I'm just now noticing it's not like there isn't stuff there. It's just that it all feels isolated from each other. Unlike with ORJY where it's pretty clear how things connect.

Because when other named characters look alike in rwby it's due to incompetence, but ruby/coco was the main instance of literally taking one character's face and just going "this is a new character!".

No one cares about background npcs being copy paste, but after 4 years of coco only being rendered by 2d artists, you'd think they'd redesign her to no longer being a literal copy paste of the main character.

Japan still does a decent amount of stuff with the series though. The anthologies are out of Japan IIRC.

Before Volume 3, it was a wonderful experience to join when shit went down, school life and sunshine to death and destruction. I lost my hype for RWBY once the bee shippers ruined it all from Tumblr to Twitter to the actual show, I remember when I would lurk in Tumblr when BB and BS fought numerous times as the wasps attacked any non-BB account. I was a Dashingicecreamfag, having to carry the feeling of defeat of a monochromefag, she still doodles a bit after she left the fandom. Her departure has accidentally discouraged mono artist and writers, it's not the same anymore.

I enjoyed sticking around with RWBYG, waiting for m3u8 links the moment it's released for sponsors, searching for hidden Weiss, joke time Weiss, tripfags, /trash/, extralife when they had more soul with in 2015 , thomas/pottery memes, and I'm glad to see situation roomanon still carrying the legacy. I may have over 32GBs of RWBYG memes and content, but I wouldn't delete it for the world for these precious memories.

I will continue shitposting with you all till the end, as a Weissfag, I want to see her path, either happiness or early death.

The smart thing would be to calmly and rationally explain to Ironwood that his semblance is interfering with his ability to lead by pursuing actions that will cause dissent when a simple explanation of the situation will suffice. She would also point out examples of things he missed with his hyper focus, like Amnity arena not being launched or cannibalized so that Salem can't just FOLLOW them after Atlas decided to leave a "working" rocket for her to use. She could even point out that Penny can't or won't come back as long as she's under the bad influence of RWBY and her creator
Then his own semblance would tell him that Winter is the best option to lead as his second in command.
She then braces Atlas for a full scale war, tries to figure out how to trick Ruby's dumb face or informs Penny of what's actually going on and how RWBY was lying to them since they got into Atlas.
Also kill Qrow or drain his aura because they do not need his ass tier luck making everything go wrong.
However this is RWBY, so her acting smart will absolutely not happen.

I wouldn't call the gameplay mediocre. Sure it was pretty stall n the first game, but the KH2 and 3 made it much more interesting and DDD was pretty cool as well.

I can't argue about the story since it can be pretty confusing to people who hasn't played the game and the releases can be slow from time to time.

We saw a sheep do vore for the happy huntresses and nothing else that I can recall. It wasn't even her own semblance but Roman's one because they were too dumb to figure out how a thief would use it.
The ace ops are actually surprisingly decent but almost all of them require less animation than any of RWBY's semblances.
Marrow just hits a pause button.
Elm is animate some aura on her feet and I suppose an example of how you can still be top tier after getting a shit roll in the semblance gacha.
Clover's semblance has no visual indicator.
Vine's semblance and visual effects from it are kinda 5/10.
Harriet comes out okay.
Maria is just good reflexes.
Overall the quality of the semblances is a big downgrade.
