Oh, I forgot about this. I was already spoiled this, but I will admit it was funny. Though nearly everything Olaf says is improv'd by Gad, so Gad should get most of the credit for adding most of the comedy to the otherwise drag of a sequel (the animators really help too, like reaction shots and Kristoff singing into a pinecone).>>118889745
Raya is going to be a dud. Disney is already treating it like one given how long it has been in development hell to be pushed out way before the deadline. It's not going to get Lee fired though as she's just in charge of the studio and you only fall up in Hollywood if you aren't put behind bars or under earth.>>118889907>>118889935>>118889997
I wasn't going to take the story that way, but if you guys like that conclusion, be my guest. Also, nothing is too deep for a children's movie. Just don't alienate kiddos with concepts they couldn't familiarize with from one scene. I had no idea how legal hearings went down despite many media depicting legal trials. Nobody ever sat down and told me what is going on and why.>>118890053
Nah, the little "bling" sound effect as Raya shows off the gold in her hairstyle is.
It's pretty sad when Over the Moon, a movie made by Netflix that wasn't great because its writer died during production, already looks better than what the real Mouse House is putting out. It looks a lot more of political commentary and China shilling than of a heartfelt adventure.
