>>118797943Luke Skywalker has a Jedi school.
It's a nice simple place near a beach.
Little egg shaped dwellings, that let Master and Padawan bunk in the same quarters.
One generation of Luke's students have reached Master, and are doing their best to learn to train their own Padawan.
While Luke had somewhat violated the Jedi code by fielding multiple Padawan, they are newly resolved to level out to the old 1:1 apprenticeship system going forward.
Luke is more or less attempting to retire from directly having a Padawan himself. Not out of laziness, but because he believes his former students have cooler heads.
Luke trains younglings as groups daily.
They have so far had a peaceful existence, and support of the New Republic, even though they prefer to remain distant from the capital in all ways.
The story will follow the current crop of Padawans, which will have a wide variety of species and quirkiness.
Somewhere out there is another group that consider themselves Jedi.
They have learned of Luke's school, and are none too happy to see that the son of Vader is training force users.
They have a spy within Luke's current crop of Padawan.
The spy was talented and well liked by the others.
His eventual betrayal will hurt himself and others, but he will go through with it.
There will be occasional ambushes on Master/Padawan pairs when they are vulnerable.
A wise kind Master will die while their struggling Padawan narrowly escapes.
There will be an eventual attack on the temple while most of the group is distracted elsewhere.
A frail struggling student will cave to the temptation of using the dark side in a heartfelt attempt to protect younglings from a dangerous intruder.
Luke will be alone in believing the student is salvageable, and will take them as his own Padawan as a project to build their confidence in their use of the light side.
There will be no mention of Ben Solo. At most Leia might suspect she is pregnant during some rare guest appearance.
