I grew up watching, old 80s shows that loved ending things in a cliffhangers and anime that the local station was too cheap to buy the rest of the series after they bought the first batch of episodes, So I'm used to watching shows I would never know the ending to.
But a bad ending can retroactively ruin a good series, specially when the creators didn't have a plan or get more liberties as the shows goes on and you discover the show wasn't good because of the creative mind behind it but in spite of it.
