>>118417966I haven't read comics in my life but I like Zee here. I do think she's the less emotionally vulnerable of the team, though, to the point where it seems the staff can't think of much genuine obstacles for her beyond Wacky Magic Hijinxs.
That's not bad, mind, those tend to be fun all the same; but it's telling that so far (and I've watched nearly all episodes) there's only two episodes where you see her emotions truly struggling, and in both of them she needs to stop being Normal Current Zee to undergo that (the one that's a flashback and the one with the stalker). Even the one with the nightmares where a point was made of Zee burying her issues deep, you don't really get a sense the confrontation with her dark side amounts to much. She beats it just as easily as it comes up.
Not complaining; I'm here for the slice of life fun so this is nothing more than an observation. Just curious if we'll see her get more challenged as an individual in future outings.
