having these petty fights around the big two is a huge waste of time, but whatever, at least do it right. For one, no one gives a shit about Superman killing Zod anymore. The DCEU has put out way more schlock for people to talk about now.
Spidey a young boy who died at 16 is suddenly thrown into a war he has no idea about and activates a "kill switch" on a bunch of Outriders that are basically mindless husks of flesh created to fight a war. it's like swatting a superpowered fly in terms of comparing sentience. unless you mean Ebony maw which is one alien not dozens and he plans an escape from the situation not outright bloodlust.
Superman in MoS is mischaracterized to hell and Snyder just completely botches the concept of "what if superheroes existed in the real world." Interesting concept, wrong director. In that universe Superman is some dude who is pretty reluctant to help because people would be scared of him but this just results him in letting a ton of people die including Pa Kent. Then he overcomes this learned selfishness by...waiting for the main villain to out him then fighting them and punching them through several buildings or otherwise not even trying to prevent trucks from crashing into buildings. He just super doesn't care anymore or even tries. That's not Superman. Then he just coldblooded murders Zod because that's the only choice but that is evidently not true. BUt this entire time you've followed a selfish, dreary, defeatist Superman who only bothers saving Lois throughout the whole franchise. He's also completely edgy and inspires zero people until some three minute reshot scene in JL.
Meanwhile we know Spidey as a well-natured, optimistic teenager from Civil War and then more in Homecoming. We know what makes him want to be a superhero and help people, but all Superman cares about is fucking Lois and blowing up buildings. He flies randomly to places to act like Jesus then mopes for another fifty minutes. God, who cares?
