Honestly ive got to say its impossible for Marvel to really get that sort of thing to happen, nevermind let it actually stay that way, because of the nature of the comics to keep on going for as long as they can. The moment the hate for mutants become low enough or reasonable would let them also lose the audience that likes how they are considered the "underdogs" in the Marvel universe narrative that have them face off against everything in the world.
For example, lets take the Hulk. His whole appeal to people and uniqueness to other heroes is him being a guy that is feared and hated by the public for the outbursts he does that even other heroes have to fight him. We've gotten to a point back then before where he's managed to get the Hulk persona under control /merged and be seen as a proper hero. Get to present times and he's still got a separate Hulk person that rages just now he's also got another persona that doesn't quite rage but is also pretty violent and hardly like a hero anymore. Another example I guess would be Namor, how often is he supposed to have made peace with other heroes and surface dwellers? There's might be a time where mutants would be accepted but that would just be a temporary state till something else would have humans pissed off with them.
