>>118126848>For Mexicans they use their mother's surname as a middle name.not really, Latin Americans, not just Mexicans (Im a spic actually) have 2 surnames/last names and usually the first one is your father's first surname and the second one is your mother's first surname though here in spic land some years ago it was approved by the gov that people now are allowed to give their kids the mothers one first and the father second, the order of this matters since your offspring will only carry 1 of your surnames, in the pic here Pedro and Catalina had a son (Antonio) and a daughter Luisa, the son's child (Maria) first surname is the same as her grandfather first surname because her father, while on Luisa case her son Jaime doesn't keep his (mother) grandfather surname but rather his father's one
