his entire character boils down to "hurr durr I conquer I kill I so evil", he's pretty much the most boring two dimensional villain in the multiverse and all he ever does his sit on his ass sending parademons and then at the end has a punching contest with superman
I mean all of the Justice Leaguers have great villains with complex motivations and a personal connection to the hero: Lex, Joker, Cheetah, Sinestro, Captain Cold, etc...
