Oooooooooooh. Yeah. That would be cool. Until now it seems like he has commited the same mistake as Billy, leaving the Lich where he seems contained but not fully destroyed. Maybe he could use a device like the one PBs used to remove the vampire part of Marceline to extract the Lich. Or Betty's Magic Man device

I know it would have made Lich less special but it's weird that he's basically the only recurring serious threat that can't be reasoned with or anything. I feel like I spent the entire series waiting for what made him in particular so dangerous to be explained but we never really got there. Then they dropped that he has a connection to Golb who also went totally unexplained. Maybe they want to do it in Distant Lands, no idea.

I always thought that was what was heavily implied. That finn, not just hiding part of the lich away, but putting him in a loving environment with family and friends to support is what stops the lich from ever returning. Love beating all and all that gay shit

A lot of the cool aspects of AT get mentioned and then dropped pretty actively in the show. They hype something up and then either drop it or subvert your expectations because they think it's good wrting
