>>117674905>>117677332I watched it. The first half of the movie is just a normal coming of age movie with some uncomfortable scenes. Then it really gets worse in the second half.
The film deserves to be controversial. The film is far too demonstrative when it could have left more to subtext as opposed to showing you really bad dance moves several times.
One series of events in the movies:
>Girl is dressed provocatively.>Gets into a fight revealing her kiddy panties.>She decides to steal money to buy better stuff.>Friends are embarassed everyone is calling them kids.>Her cousin finds out she stole his mobile and she seductively comes on to him.>She takes a photo of her vagina to prove she is not a kid and posts it online.>Boy in her class slaps her mum and she stabs him with a pencil.>Mum finds out about the picture. The film should be controversial because it is borderline exploitative. The actual message is anti sexualisation. The current controversy is almost angry at the wrong thing.
