>>117492238>what I call downtime which is when not much is going onThis is mostly for the second act though, the first and final acts is where the film shines through. I'd definitely argue that UP is the literal definition of downtime the movie, it's a cute fun romp. but who the fuck talks about the third act of up?
>I'd rather watch it over any that came after even if they're not that bad like Monster University.Oh Coco was a pretty solid pixar film, I'd agree with you if it weren't for that film. Minus the obvious shitty predictable twist, I liked it. Would rewatch.
>Monster University. My friend's dad was an animator at pixar and they'd often invite me to go inside pixar with them and I remember one of the offices being a replica of the MU frat house the main character's resided in. It's a weak film, but seeing that scene in real life was cool. He passed away about a year ago and they put his name in the credits of Toy Story 4 as a memory
sorry for the blog, but I miss him>And to think they actually had to downgrade the animation of the fish and ocean because it looked too real.Actually that's pretty cool, I had no idea. They nailed the fish without making them too "simple"
