I feel like everything wrong with Steven towards the end of Future could have all been solved if Steven just had a one on one talk with Lars(no homo) as he's probably the only male roll model in his life that's even close to his age and he would have made sense of all Steven's mental problems by just telling him he's just a normal teen and that its normal to feel that way.
