>>117255867>>117255899>>117255923>>117255973Fate manip is bullshit, Sonic has been beaten and knocked out in the comics before. Saying Sonic literally can't lose cause "fate" is just blatantly untrue. The evidence for this in the comics is flimsy at best - one line from Mammoth Mogul which can be read in multiple ways and some rambings from Dr. Eggman where he's clearly out of his mind and trying to save face.
Even if he did have fate manipulation, it's never mentioned once in the preview blog they put out. Which likely means they aren't gonna give it to Sonic in the episode.
>Resists having his speed stolen with power ringsExcept he literally has had his speed stolen in the comics before. He needed to get the rings to boost his speed back to normal cause it had been sapped away.
If you don't know about Archie Comics Sonic, rings in the series are used to enhance character's normal power, like people can get stronger by absorbing rings. Sonic had been weakened and absorbed the ring's power to get back to his regular level. It's usually temporary, but in this one case it wasn't.
Basically, it's not "RINGS MAKE HIM IMMUNE TO SPEED STEAL," it's just "he can use rings to increase his speed if it gets stolen away." His rings are in limited supply, so he'll eventually run out and Wally can statue-ize him.
>SolarisThe guy he needed Shadow and Silver to help him beat? By exploiting a weak point? And he didn't even really beat him? Fucking Princess Elise did by blowing it out after it turned into a little flame it was going to grow back from. Also, Solaris is only really mentioned in the Archie encyclopedia. Death Battle didn't even scale canon Sonic to Solaris, I don't see them scaling a Sonic who never even fought him on screen to him either.
>Timeless voidWally has fought in timeless voids too. The thing is, moving in a "timeless void" doesn't make you immeasurably fast. It's just like moving in an empty area pretty much. I don't get why people think this.
