I like all those plethora of new shows. In an ideal world, those shows will be made without even anybody buying merchandise crap, and just the opportunity of watching them through all our modern devices should be reason enough to make them.
But if large amounts of money are only invested when investors are being tricked into spending money to create more cartoons to advertise physical products, then so be it.
Sponsors are not our friends, they're our enemies, trying to trick us into wasting money on plastic garbage to COOMSOOM!
So, no need to feel bad about them spending endless amounts of money to create cartoon shows.
