>>117163269>Superman literally saves the day despite all the damage.it's a problem in the "how" all of this is shown.
In the old Superman 2 movie when one of Zod's mates lifts the bus to throw it at Superman, the latter immediately screams desperately that there are people inside.
In Man of Steel when Superman is thrown into the Bar, there are desperate people inside, but Superman literally continues to fight ignoring them.
When Stark finds himself fighting the Hulk, he's even willing to take damage to help people around him rather than stay focused on battle.
Edgy people will answer that Superman has to be focused in that battle, thinking about the people at that moment is counterproductive, but it's a superhero movie. People NEED to see these heroes who, even at the expense of their safety, put the defense of citizens first, because it's pretty mich the point of their existence. In Man of Steel , yeah, right, Superan save the day, but in a brutal way in which the defeat of Zod counts more than the civilians in the buildings.
And here's the problem, Superman isn't a soldier, he's a hero. Even Stark before throwing the Hulk inside a building, he looked for one that had no civilians inside.
Small fucking details , but very important because with these little details they are showing that Stark is thinking about the safety of civilians.
