>>117134075Dude I have Watchmen here, I think it's a holy cow, Before Watchman was absolute garbage (yeah, forgot those exist right? Strangely those are never discussed.) But I liked Doomsday Clock simply for the attempt of doing some artsy shit and for some of the side stories.
And I don't care much for Death Metal's use of that material, I only find it interesting.
Bruce in another universe tries to be omnipotent to be a better crime fighter, so he tries to turn himself into Dr Manhatten - why not? He'd do that. He once sad on that weird god throne. Many of the Dark Universe Batmen were created because Batman tried to be a more efficient crime fighter and fucked up. That's nothing new.
So he was killed off because his abilities weren't fully functional. That makes actually sense. If Watchmen would be that holy cow (for those newfags who just copy each other's opinions like Youtubers because they once HEARD of a comic named Watchmen), then people would know that Manhattans abilities grow over time, and at the beginning he was helpless and confused.
About that brain transplant thing: It's a fucking comic. Justice League Dark has a fucking talking monkey in it. There's a Plastic Man and he's not a gag character. There has been dumber shit.
And finally: Whatever else insanity goes on in that comic is typical Snyder. It's like he looks through other comics for the weirdest shit that happened and uses it. And now people complain because they realize how stupid their comics are.
And noone will read this fucking post, and there will be random threads posting images of Death Metal forever, discussing the same shit over and over.
It doesn't even matter! Perpetua is already dumb, and once she's killed off and Batman Who Laughs is defeated, everything will be status quo and Watchmen-stuff gets ignored again. As always. But first people will whine how Sandman appears there, as if it didn't already happen in Dark Knights Metal.
