>Hitler goes to Hazbin! Hell
>makes it through the initial shock of becoming a demon, and understands that God or whatever has judged his life 'worthy of being made a demon and sent to hell'
>and he immediately rejects it
>Hitler proclaims in the street, demands his own choice, to decide a way forward in the after life
>there is no answer from the sky
>he raises an army in a matter of days, demons ready to break out of the self-hatred and talk to the big man upstairs
>the common demons tacitly support him, clearing the streets of any other competition for one very special night
>the Purge Night begins, and the 13 cleansing angels descend from Beyond
>Hitler's forces strike
>and the son of a bitch takes one of them down
>the angels glowed a hot orange white, and surrounded Hitler's army, burning on all sides, but falling still
>nevertheless, they are too grand, and they slowly engulf his forces
>Hitler's flies on blackest wings, watching his one chance fall, and a fury not felt since long ago
>since the day in 1918
>he was blinded by Mustard Gas, and heard on Radio that Bavaria had fallen to Bolshevists
>that time that crystallized all his anger and his sense of powerlessness
>a sense of bleak inevitability, that he would never accept again
>that he would always give struggle
>Hitler's body bursts into stark and wild flame of red, black and white, sharp and angular, the blaze tears through the angels, as a golden window appears in the sky, and whisks it all away in an instant
>and all of them, angels, Hitler and his armies, were gone
>and the night was quiet the whole time after
No one knows what happened to him after that, Purge Nights returned same as before, but there was four less than before, for every night since.
Whatever the sorry saps of Hell may squabble or fight over, there's one legend they all raise a toast to.
"HEIL HITLER!" cry the demons, "HEIL HITLER!"
