>>116612161>There was a tiny brief window when they seemed to be planning to do something with the twins.I'm not sure they had any long term plan for them, it seemed more like both of them, and Vision were all on the same Avengers team in 2015 because that was as much MCU synergy as Marvel were prepared to give them. Then all of the relaunches after Secret Wars gave them an opportunity to put them all in different books and keep them away from each other.
The most we likely would have got was Remender's Counter-Earth story running longer than it did, and possibly attempting to give more answers on the twins' new origins. Remender seemed pretty committed to pushing the Wanda/Wonderman ship for at least the fourth time, and it may be that Brevoort had a part in pushing that despite her fans hating it.
>The fact that Vision got one of their best-received series where Wanda was a fairly important presence, and then did practically nothing with both characters, suggests that there is just a built-in bias against them at Marvel that nothing can shake. It's difficult to know whether Vision got underused just because nobody at Marvel seems to care about him, or if it was due to plans for Cain's Vision mini that was meant to be a sequel to King's series, but was cancelled after two issues were solicited.
For Wanda, to see how much they care about her, just look at how her solo book was followed with her immediately being used as a possessed villain in an event, then rushed into a new ship with a random man that's not Vision, then put into limbo.
