>>116591932>How do you feel about transfolks that don't base their entire identity on genital surgery or invasive medical procedures?
i think separating sex and identity is impossible. if youre happy with your life, fine. i dont think people should be bullied for being novel/unfamiliar. but i also dont believe any amount of monetary or emotional support on earth will make up for trying to do the impossible, that is, help fool a person their body isnt what it is and that doing so is wrong, at least unilaterally.
dilation is a /pol/ meme but it truly seems like torturous process. i cant abide recklessly supporting that.
if you mean just like hrt and dress, still the same, someone that truly thinks their body is wrong but doesnt go for heavy medical options for whatever reasons will still not be able to be consoled by any words, at least not forever while their own body proves them wrong especially as they age. some can do it and its the right choice but im convinced its too hard and this is concealed by other people trying to do everything they can to fight for them ironically. corporations and political entities shouldnt be the guide for these people is what im saying. like any constituent, its not always for their benefaction.
