I can tell you this as someone with absolutely no motivation, ever: You just do it. You just drown out other distractions and refuse to do anything else. Nothing will magically make you want to work again.

If you have severe difficulty keeping your attention on task maybe consider meds for that.

Don't be pretentious. You could do literally whatever you want with this time.

The fact is, "don't be lazy" is the only real advice. People could give you all of the flowery inspiration talk on the planet, but in my experience, none of it will have any effect on you. If you want to create, you have to buckle down, cut your other attentions off, and work.

You just have to learn motivation and work ethic. Personally, I try to page myself with my work, not taking on too much at once, otherwise I'll end up feeling burnt out, take a long break from work and eventually I'll lose interest.

Nah, from long experience, I can tell you, especially with writing, you’ll have a difficult time telling ‘good’ days from ‘bad days’.
As far as art goes, I work on my comic in sections. If I get stumped on one chapter I do a page from another.
I’d suggest staying away from the news.

i go on draw threads to polish and improve my drawing style (robren2020).
i watch old school cartoons on youtube and draw a screen cap, watch 80's anime also.
but there are days, sometime weeks where i can't do any of that due to work (refinery).

get totally obsessed with something and use it to draw a fuckton. that's what happened with me, I've been drawing more in the past month than I have been in a helluva LONG time. I used to start a sketch maybe once or twice a week, but this past month or so I've been drawing a lot every single day, especially since I have a lot of free time due to quarantine. Easier said than done I know, finding something that really makes you feel passionate is pretty difficult, for me especially. I just got lucky

I probably shouldn't have thrown in the "and pretty much is" on that post, then.
But the news is filled with cancellations, extreme delays or events are a ghost of their former selves.
Personal, small-group things can still happen, but the larger scale stuff is absolutely a no-go.
When you're being told you have to be trepidatious with something as simple as an in-person interaction (something which society is based on) you can feel overwhelmed sometimes.
