>>116509595>What did you guys not like about it?It tried to be too many things at once, but excelled at none of them. It didn't take itself seriously at all, but it also failed as a comedy. The characters, worldbuilding, plot, etc. weren't thought out well, they were clearly making it up as they went along. Its overall tone and character writing were dissonant, baiting with faux-serious moments, only to regress back to preschool levels of maturity; it flip-flopped between being sweet and mean-spirited. There were way too many characters who never got their chance to shine, and way too many who turned out to be uninteresting or obnoxious when they got their moment in the sun. Speaking of obnoxious, what was the deal with all the very special episodes and forced politics? Some of the morals in this cartoon were seriously cringe-inducing. Last but not least, this show reveled in being utterly unoriginal, and relied heavily on references that would fly right over the heads of its supposed target demographic, and also mine, as a zoomer and a foreigner.
