>>116423653Exactly. Focus on the good.
>>116424226>so gratingI like grating characters because I'm grating.
>suck that hard>he doesn't fuck with "Inside Every Demon is a Rainbow">he doesn't sing the wordsNow you know why I'm grating.
>animationOkay, so this I'm interested in having you elaborate on. I found the animation shockingly good for an independent project. However, I have never been able to give a shit about small continuity errors, smear frames, etc. As long as things are moving with any degree of fluidity, I don't care about cheating lines.
>newscastersDude, I loved the newscasters. Just make a show about them.
>I'm mad and in Hell and I'm not gonna take this anymore!>There were so many people working on it but not a single fucking person had the cojones to tell viv that she needs to CALM DOWN with her hedonistic self indulgent writing and designworkBingo.
>colour greenI actually stopped and started thinking about the show after you said this and it blew me away. Yeah. The only green I can think of was in that Addict music video, which was so fucking bad for so many other embarrassing reasons.
I think one of the major issues is that the show feels so adolescent in it's writing. It comes off as very naive. I know nothing about Viz's personal life other than that she's a woman. However, she comes off as someone very sheltered, whose knowledge of drugs, alcohol, sex work, crime, etc. comes from movies and television rather than direct experience. I'm a pretty sheltered person and even I was like... "Who does that? That is not how I act when I'm getting drugs."
I think Viz would have been a lot better off if she made the show for kids and had the various crimes that the Hazbin Crew did be things relevant to children / teenagers. You know, have Alastor be a typical crook or something. Get rid of all the embarrassing "look how adult we are" allusions to drugs.
Angel's story is ok.
