>>116360141Moon was a totally good person.
Look, last time she was conscient she had taken an ex-queen (a monster fucker) that gave up the whole kingdom because she wanted to marry a monster, doesn't matter if we as audience consider this good or bad, in any royalty that kind of aptitude was met with death sentence, Eclipsa not only was responsable of her own mom's death, she had sent the kingdom to a total state of selfdestruction, her mom had fought hard to keep alliances (and just like it was shown when Star gave her the crown back) Eclipsa cared too little about the royalty stuff, I'd not feel surprised if her husband had to do all the stuff around.
And yes, we hear from Eclipsa that he was an asshole, but at least he was an intelligent asshole that even without her as queen managed to keep some stability.
Eclipsa's message to Star and the audience should have been that of deep thinking, Star feared to be like Ms. Heinous, stiff and obligued to do the right thing and considered her mother Moon, was driving her to that life, Eclipsa was a total free irresponsable woman, it should have shocked Star to see that ideal woman failing to be a queen a lot more.
Now, Mina had tried to kill Eclipsa, turn her in stone and other things, I still prefer to think that Moon desired to save her through banishment, Star had made a similar mistake as Eclipsa, gave up the crown and magic wand to someone else. If anything Star deserved punishment and be screammed on the face as the traitor she was.
Royalty is not an easy task, you have many liberties, but also lots of responsabilities as the face of a whole country.
