Felt like I watched a better extended episode just like the pilot. Better written definitely, just like the pilot. Really loved the fact that Frankie wasn't kept hostage, she just willingly stayed and told the rest to fuck off when they wanted her back to do their chores.
Sadly the rest of the show was as shit as watching Gumball. When you're more boring than Chowder then you fucked up.
Flapjack still sucks, you zoomers - it's hypocritical garbage that teaches you to be bossed around.

I hoped Duchess would have had more of a role in the series as one of the main antagonists. Like, she is the Mojo jojo to Bloo and Mac.

Also, I always thought she would have minions of sorts. She was able to control an Extremosaur, which come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. I wouldn't be surprised if she had a tiny one she keeps like a pet. Another thing is her using the more docile and obedient friends made to be servants to kids acting as her servants. Sort of like Wilt, being Yes Men that do whatever they are told.

Usually I roll my eyes at "adult" reboots, but fosters seems like it'd be a good exception with the sheer amount of stuff they could explore without having to worry about censors. Maybe a spin off would be better though, like lost imaginary friends who rather live freely.

One of the reason Frankie stays at the mansion is so she could reunite with her imaginary friend that she was made to give up by her dad. She really wanted an imaginary friend and I can see she has a fondness for the beings, like her grandmother. I can see her handling things for a while after her grandmother passes.

According to the show, imaginary friends are based off of the creator's wishes and a subconscious desire they aren't aware of at first. Like how Ed was made to scare bullies away and take care of his owner's brother, but also teach her to be brave. Berry must've been made by a bratty kid who wanted someone just like them, they ended up getting either angry or scared, and kicked her out.

It's not really subconscious. It's like some third party implants what the friend is suppose to teach. For example, Red was suppose to teach Terrence empathy but he was rejected for it was something he would never accept. Also, Berry doy not seem to serve such a role. Even Duchess.

My theory is that duchess was meant to teach her owner that art shouldn't be made for profit, but out of passion. They were so focused on making a work of art, that they never actually considered how much of a friend she should actually be, and so duchess came out rude and egotistical. My theory why we don't see many "sexy" imaginary friends is because teenagers lost the ability to be imaginative thanks to porn or they rather pursue real women instead. There's as few exceptions obviously, like the kids who grew up drawing lewd art, but it's seen as desperate and lame.

She never saw Bloo before in her life. She met him with Frankie at the entrance of the house. She was kind of shit and shit until Frankie decided to be a real one and help her be able to go chat with Bloo fir the first time.

I don't know if anyone noticed but why is there so many weird ships with overly designed furry characters that are self-insertish with Wilt? The characters don't feel and look like the style of the show, and look out of place when next to Wilt who still resemble how he looks in the show. It's just weird.
