NEVER anywhere in this meme does pointing this out indicate the quality of the show, the writing, or the other designs. It's merely to point out how conventionally designed main characters are in cartoons from the last decade.
Gravity Falls is a decent show. Grunkle Stan has a good design and there a lot of good monster designs. That doesn't mean you can't point out that Dipper is designed in the most bland MC way possible. This is no different than pointing out the similarities in CG Disney princess faces, except it's kind of worse because this is more than one studio.
