>>116080500I just started watching it recently myself, really enjoying it so far. Started Season 3 today.
Season 1 is alright, it spends most of its time establishing the world and everything, but it wasn't bad or anything. The animation is a little wonky because they went for a "stylized framerate" which made things look a little stuttery. Didn't bother me nearly as much as I thought it would back when I saw the trailer a few years ago.
Season 2 was an improvement, things start moving along quicker. They also fixed the animation after hearing the complaints from people.
I've only seen the first episode of Season 3 so far, but it was a great season opener. Can't wait to see where the season goes.
The dragon designs are really cool so far, they're actual dragons instead of the wyvern-style dragons that a lot of franchises have been going for. The music in this show is really great too, I find myself humming the theme a lot lately.
Apparently there's a plan for another four seasons, split into two arcs. Things have been silent about if it'll happen but there is a panel at the SDCC@Home thing, so presumably we'll know for sure then. It'd be awfully weird to have a panel for a cancelled show though.
