Now, without bullshit non-answers about "lol just have them listen to you, bro" what is the proper response?
a) allow them to touch the stove, thereby burning themselves and causing a great deal of pain
b) give them a smack on the wrist that will cause far less pain, but remind them to listen to you and do as they are told
c) explain to them the scientific model of heat transfer and its effect on certain materials including human skin, and allow them to make the decision for themselves in the free market of ideas
