When you say you like Moynihan's personal works, that's fine. When you say you like Moynihan's work on the show, you're saying you don't like the style that Pott has licensed for her show. Pott's style is very, very different from what SCI is, but she approved how it looks now because her artwork serves a better purpose in an old nursery book or watercolor collection than it does in animation. Moynihan's "expressiveness" (as you call it, which is an incorrect definition) is the equivalent of a smear or in-between for almost every other animator working on a show. Moynihan's artwork is inherently modernist abstract, which is the lowest level of artwork, if it could even be called such, especially when someone doesn't understand basic form and structure.
What you call a pleb filter is, in fact, a tool used to cater to the lowest common denominator, that being (You).
