I almost thought you said "comics" at first and wanted to punch the screen.

I know we share a board and all but I really don't get about you cartoon fans. This is very clearly targeted towards 2-3 year olds, hell I'd be embarassed to watch this if I was 5. You know there's like blood and sex and death in comics, right? Even Spider-man, heck, especially in Spider-Man. Without that, what is there?

I'm a comic dude too and realism/grittiness isn't everything. It doesn't take a genius to watch old Looney Tunes and know why its beloved. Granted, that reason only applies to the classics, but like comics the love comes from the medium. I sat down to watch some cartoons with my nephew the other day and while the new stuff aren't masterpieces, I could see why someone would chuck 'em on in the background or even just sit down and turn their brain off for stupid fun.
