It's not just Eda barely teaching Luz anything, it's also that Luz doesn't (or thanks to forced bad writing, is forced to not) stick around long enough to learn anything from / bond properly as an actual family unit with Eda. Remember the episode with library or the episode with Hooty getting broken? Luz's inability to learn things on her own that could help her in this setting (instead, she's too busy fucking goofing around like a twat!) is another problem. One that makes Luz come off unlikable, compared to whom the show should really be about (Amity, which is FACT.).
In reality, what I'm getting at here (and no, unlike what /co/ wants, I'm not implying that they fuck each other, because that's what R34 is for.) is what you need in some degree for the teacher and pupil relationship Eda and Luz are supposed to have to flourish in any real sense? Luz needs to stick around more with Eda instead of running off to wherever and Eda needs to actually be teaching Luz some stuff she knows for once.
Too bad the writing staff can't be trusted to do these things, hence why all people n /co/ want to see is Luz and Eda fuck (R34), and not much else beyond that. And with that, so much for actually making the show itself worth sitting down to for the viewer, honestly.
