>>115683682I Dig this guy's style in art and animation, and I like his natural sort of mumble core delivery with his dialogue, but this series after the initial episode is a miss. The series set up is essentially "the boss is wacky, his employees are straight-men". There's no more substance behind it than that. If the Boss was at least more grounded and realistic it could have been a funny workplace comedy, but since the boss is supreme reality bending "wacky"... there's no rules to the comedy, and since he can do anything, there's no expectations to break.
It's a shame, because the setup with the blown themed burger cart is fun, and all the characters outside the boss are cute. Hopefully his next series has more substance.
