>>115590950>there is such a thing as intersex
Why is this always the go-to for "debunking" the gender binary.
Intersex isn't some special lottery prize. You don't win both genders. It's a genetic defect. You have more parts than you should. I can't think of one medical case where an intersex has both working organs. You don't see a person born with 4 or 6 fingers and go "well, having 4 or 6 fingers must be the new normal now! Guess humans can be born with anywhere from 8 to 12 fingers instead of 10." The guy with extra chromosomes isn't some special superhuman. It's a genetic defect.
And before you get started, don't bring up the "what if they lose X body part due to cancer, birth defect, etc. or have XXY or are a sewer mutant". Abnormalities are not considered something different when it comes to scientific norms.>a binary pronoun system will strongly nudge toward binary gender norms
because there are only two (binary) genders. the ones with a penis and the ones with a vagina. Whatever fucking label you want to slap on them. Yes, boys can be feminine, girls can be masculine. Or whatever halfway inbetween shit you come up with. You don't need some <noun>gender term for it, and nobody aside from the fringe schools of thought that encourage this believe in it.>what's it to you what sex I have? Really?
It matters nothing, you're always a guy on the internet.>Sex is a private matter.
Contrary to what you and many of us would like, it is in fact not. It's not to the government, it's not to your insurance, it's not to anybody. You were marked from the day you were born and your gender has been documented by the government. It is, in fact, public knowledge.> In public life, what is between my legs is of absolutely no importance to you
And you are of absolutely no importance to anyone.
