>The Superman-Luthor relationship can only end in two ways:>1) Luthor defeats Superman, but exposes his true nature in doing so, and the people turn against him.>2) Luthor is redeemed by Superman's actions.Having Superman die and having Luthor try and take up his space in the DC Universe was a great take on the character.
All of this time, Luthor was spewing hate at Superman saying that human's needed a human role model. Once Luthor gets that chance to practice what he preaches, could lead to a ton of great stories.
