sucks that they never renewed it after 52 eps so Pac never finds his parents or the ghostly four dont ever get their bodies back

Yes, it's SO good they canned it in 2 seasons. Pac girl is at least cute tho. Side note: you just reminded me I still have my Pac Man Ghostly Adventure poster I got with my game 7 years ago.

No bait, outside of the meme scenes it's really just your average kids show, with the weird gags that come with it. It's not worth going out of your way to watch, but not really worth keeping in scorn.
That everyone knows pac-man and has a pretty basic idea of how he should be, and that fart humor never sits well with anyone smarter than a fifth grader, is mostly what made it so detestable.

I've been watching the show for a few days now, and I still can't tell if I like it or not. But whatever it is, it keeps making me come back and want to watch the rest of it.

Humor is a bit crude, but what would you expect from someone who eats a shit ton (maybe literally).

Ghosts are awesomely designed as well as the 3d mazes. Too bad some couldn't be explored properly due to the 22 minute time limit.

Voice acting...needs a bit of work. Pac Man's voice kinda sounds like the split between kid and puberty, and since he is a teen, it could be justified.
Pinky's voice...makes me wanna tear my ear drums out and scratch the chalkboard just to cancel her out.

A show has to be offensively bad to be unable to justify watching it for one character. Ghostly Adventures might not be amazing but it's not like it causes one physical pain to watch it.

I mean, Pac-Man is a Japanese franchise, so it's not too surprising that Japanese people had involvement in the show and that it was aired in Japan.

I just read some things and found out that, bafflingly, this series was directed by the same guy who directed the movie Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. Which I know everyone hates but I personally enjoyed it for what it was. But yeah, seems like a complete nobody other than that. I can't imagine many people would want to give him work after Spirits Within so I have no idea how he found his way to directing this Pac-Man show.
