Theyre not erase it at all. A lot of content still shows her laughing it up with Joker. Right now they’re trying to establish that it was a dark period of her life. This is partly why Punchline exists, to establish both moved on while giving Joker a new playmate.

The difference between Harley and all those characters is that they actively try(with varying success) to be less malicious and other characters call them out for past misdeeds/ distrust them somewhat.

A lot of the heroes should have issues with Harley Quinn, but everyone seems to give her a free pass because 'LOL Randumb'.

I think Harley could work as an antihero, but DC basically skipped or botched her redemption arc.

Doesn't really mean much when other killers and terrorists can and have been redeemed. Like people have mentioned before, Major Disaster was a fairly unambiguous killer in his early days and went legit twice and even joined the Justice League. The famous Hal page with him going saying he's got an IQ of a guacamole is from when Goldface had him captured and was going to murder him to solidify his organization and he later went legit and became friends with Wally. Slade has teetered on the 'Anti-Hero' slide since the 90's and he's a killer for hire. Even Sinestro went from planet destroying despot to an almost anti-hero in less than 5 years under Johns' pen so thinking Harley can't go legit is just stupid.
