Why is it that Robocop/Alex Murphy is awesome, yet Cyborg/Victor Stone is not? Despite Cyborg getting his own solo series, attempts to create a his own rogues gallery, and the fact that he can do far more than Robocop, he still hasn't resonated with audiences. Is it because Robocop has the charm of being a clunky, unapologetic action hero who just shoots creeps in the dick without a second thought? They've both struggled with their humanity, and yet I'd argue Murphy is still the more likable character.

What can we change about Cyborg's character to make readers care about him?
