>>114995323>If they do have the rights,
That would be Dreamworks, they have the rights to THIS She-Ra show, but Mattel has the rights to She-Ra. Just like Sony has the rights to Spectacular Spider-Man, but Marvel has the rights to all future Spider-Man TV shows. Disney can't use Spectacular Spider-Man without paying Sony, and even if they get the rights back to Spider-Man they will ALWAYS have to pay rights to use Spectacular Spider-Man, because Sony owns that show.>they would be insane to not either draw inspiration from Dreamworks,
If you think they're going to pay money just to reference the show instead of making a new She-Ra they can make a toyline for and own the full rights to, well...>Both because nu She-Ra is wildly popular
Yeah, that about explains it.>much more importantly because it wouldn't require completely redesigning their toys.
They have to do that anyway, these toys BOMBED. We're talking tanked, all future lines ended, actively being removed from search engines(Go look up She-Ra toys on shopping on google)>Remember, these shows are first and foremost Mattel toy commercials
And these toys didn't sell, guess what they're going to do to it?> Mattel's not so brain dead that they'd refuse to capitalize on this show's success
What success? The toyline flopped and they didn't make money from commercials since its on Netflix.
Do you think they're going to make another Voltron too?
