The "adult" humour felt a bit a bit toe curling, like i'm meant to be giggling like a schoolgirl that these cartoons characters say "shit" and "fuck" all the time, as if adult animation hasn't been a big thing for awhile. It felt forced and "edgy".
Also the character designs strike me as amaturish and like something someone with ADHD would draw. Everything is just over the top smiles the size of their whole face, which means there's no room for anything nuanced, which is why almost no one else draws like this professionally. Every single bit of animation needing to be so exaggerated to make the style work makes it look boring to me. When everything is pushed to extremes all the time, then you have nowhere to go when you have a shot where you do have a shot you want to look extreme compared to everything else.
That said I can see they worked really hard on it, and a lot of talented people got involved whom i respect. So maybe it's just not for me.
