Jughead seems to prefer the simple burger. Most pictures of him features a burger with cheese and salad in addition to the patty.
Whereas Wimpy prefers his with salad, raw onion, tomato and cheese cheese.
Now, on variety Wimpy would win, but one could argue that the essence of the burger is best captured by Jugheads minimalistic approach. He truly savors the patty if there's a minimum of extra flavors like the onion, and his burger does also not get soggy like the fresh tomato will cause Wimpy's to do.
We have to assume they both use ketchup at the very least, otherwise it might be a somewhat dry experience (unless the patty is juicy enough to make up for a lack of ketchup).
On this basis I would say I somewhat prefer Jugheads, but that is only provided the bun is brioche, the patty juicy and the salad crisp. Otherwise it's Wimpy's win.
