If you don't know who Alan Moore is, he's the comic book writer who wrote "Watchmen." If you've never heard of "Watchmen," it was a deconstruction of the superhero genre that has come to be regarded as one of the greatest comic books of all time.
The "Alan Moore guy," was a dude on this board who really, really hated Alan Moore. He would start a thread every other day with the picture seen to the left, trying to convince everyone that Alan Moore was stupid/contemptible/uncool/a cuck etc.
These posts were typically in the usual greentext format you see when people are trying to slander public figures on this site:
e.g.

It seems he was offended by the revelation that Moore meant one of his characters from Watchmen, Rorschach, to be seen as a bad, reprehensible, and an otherwise unpleasant person. The OP apparently related to Rorschach quite a bit, and took Moore's comments on the character as a personal insult
