Also that actor almost looks nothing like that and has gotten older, it was a way dif look for her in Dredd and we need a teen Dolphin with a fit action bod imo.....also not black like i suspect they will do to her.

Interesting. I have been hoping that he would be tapped to do graphic novel sequels for his Dceu Batman & Superman, but him doing something with Aquaman would be cool also.

How isn't she? She's pissed off both sides of the #MeToo movement by lying about it. Outside of maybe the very specific subset of man-hating terfs she has pissed off just about every group possible. People have been dropped for way less and she doesn't have any real star power to shield her from any consequences, especially since the sequel is in early pre-production and it would be a perfect time to drop her if they were going to do it.

I liked Aquaman a lot, but I'll also be the first to admit it suffered from horrible pacing problems. They basically crammed three comic storylines into one movie. It was like they were afraid they were never going to get the chance to make another one, so they had to throw everything they had into this one.
With 2, I hope they expand on things. Black Manta as the main villain, but have another villain as a henchman. Like Scavenger, or the N.E.M.O. organization or something. Throw in Garth, or set up a love triangle with Mera and Dolphin.
