Except Titans has more characters that require a more CGI eg Beast Boy, Starfire, and Raven.

I think it will depend on how the first season goes and what their budget would look like in Season 2. The cosmic staff and the S.T.R.I.P.E. are going to eat up a lot of effects budget, which is probably why they're rounding out the team with mostly low powered brawlers. Which I'm not upset about, Titans has the problem of having to neuter some of its characters because their powers are too expensive for a TV budget.

I think it all ultimately depends on who was on the original JSA in this incarnation and who they can draw connections to. It definitely seems like they're leaning towards a lower power scale all around because the OG JSA is defeated by the Injustice Society and they're two most powerful members are Icicle and Brainwave. I sort of doubt they have Alan or Jay in the OG JSA, but will instead lean more towards the mystery men characters with Sylvester being the heavy-hitter and Courtney by extension being the heavy-hitter of the new team (it is her show, after all).

I thought the first two seasons of Black Lightning were good because it kept the stakes small and localized, didn't try to overreach and there wasn't an abundance of frustrated romance or obviously fan-service shipping. Flash has a lot of heart and really tries, but is limited by budget and really gets bogged down in the CW melodrama too much. Supergirl, I'm not going to say it's great but I'm going to say that from the parts I watched I enjoyed more than I thought I would. I completely skipped the first season, though.

It was no worse than any of the other crossover specials and people watched those. I honestly think the CWverse gets by largely on novelty. It's not great TV but it really makes you curious what they'll do next because they lift a lot of their story telling from the tried and true soap opera techniques.

i guess the story just didnt click with me i feelt like the book of destiny was just a deus ex machina when necessary and the paragon things seemed arbitrary especially after batwoman becoming one by killing batman i will just asume the comic did it better

Not him but I think he's talking about in every thread for this show so far there's been plenty of people looking for reasons to hate it even though the trailers have consistently looked pretty good. /co/ even five years ago would have been a lot more excited about getting a Stargirl/JSA show with this production value.
