Weird, Indie games usually don't get animated series. and of all the indies to get it, why "Hello Neighbor". Not hating, I never played it and from what I saw it looks fine, but it's concept doesn't strike me as tv-show material.

"Hello Neighbor" is the only game the studio made that really rocked the boat even a little. Their other games and the Hello Neighbor followups didn't light the world on fire so they're trying their hardest to hang onto the only hit they had.

Can someone explain how and why 'Hello Neighbor' became so popular when the game barely works and the history is left unfinished 'on purpose'? At least FNAF appealed to furries and Scott is a competent developer

No one really cares about Hello Neighbor anymore. Not even Matpat. The only reason people talk about the game is because they are paid to. Just like the youtubers that are paid to play the multiplayer.

It became the neighbor being a parent who lost his wife and daughter and kidnaps kids to live in his house and the MC getting trauma from the experience and having to deal with it in a hallucination/dream battle against the Neighbor. It just got stupid.
