>>114369484While you have good taste, I think it's best that you stick to a cast that share the same franchise as opposed to using multiple different ones. I'd personally have it so that the Ghoul School girls appear and maybe throw in some OCs that fit within the universe, but having Mavis and Gruftine appear in the Scooby-Doo universe makes everything seem disjointed to me. Having everything take place in an inconsistent universe from multiple franchises breaks the immersion for me. It also spawns glaring lore-breaking questions,
such as there being two Draculas.Your general ideas for the setting seem pretty solid though. I really like the idea of where something as simple as a human is considered exotic, as it adds a sense of excitement and potential danger from anyone attempting to romance Anon. It also allows cheap yet effective humor involving Anon doing basic human things only for the surrounding monsters to be so bizarrely intrigued by it, possibly resulting in failed imitations or ridiculous misconceptions.
If writefagging skills are what you lack, I suggest lurking in other threads and writing some stuff up. It's what got me experience, and I think this year might be the one I write some stuff down for Spooktober for the first time.
