Alien Force and Ultimate Alien were super shitty, turning every single villain into a badass like Aloysius Animo, adding new pointless shit like eight eight and seven seven, Ben turn into a completelly different character offscreen, Kevin magically turning good etc, the Vreedle brothers and some of the new aliens are the only good things about this part
Omniverse is a mixed bag, it fixed Ben personality into his old arrogant self but as less impulsive due to being older, fixed some villains like Aloysius Animo into their old selves and had some neat villains, the problem is how they made Ben ridiculously overpowered and their arch enemies Vulgax and the Forever Knights were nerfed into C-list jobbers defeated by not just Ben but other weaker characters, so there was no longer any stakes
Original season was the perfect balance between serious and goofy, the Omnitrix being defective was a great way to create challenges.
